I’m drowning in my To-do list.
Have you ever had a To-do list that seemed longer than the Great Wall of China? Like all the shit that needs to get done is endless.
A Doctor that I used to work for in 04 told me to write down everything that I need to accomplish for the day, and then mark it off once I’ve accomplished it. Well that all worked fine and dandy for maybe a year, but my obsessive compulsive disorder only makes me add more shit to the list, and the list becomes unending.
Some of the shit on my To-do list is so unnecessary, but getting it tackled is like a boxer winning a prize fight, and it just makes me feel good. Like for instance, I’m getting a new car, a 2008 PT Cruiser. Nothing fancy or spectacular but it’s affordable and I can pay cash for it so I don’t have to worry about car payments later. So what I’d do is put “buy my car” on my daily To-do list although I’m not scheduled to get it till the end of the Month.
Now with this new house in my future my motor is spinning every which way. I’m anxious, excited, and curious about it all. I just got an email from a very good client who told me that I f I needed ANYTHING for my new incall space to let him know and he’ll get it for me.
This is a pivotal point in my life right now because I’m in the process of making some crucial changes so that I can live better and have better experiences with my clients. I’m even thinking about changing my name (persona) and my website just to spice things up a bit. I really like the name Genevieve Jones but the name is already taken by another fabulous little socialite. And although the socialite had a history of hustling like I do, I still don’t want to use her name and associate it with prostitution.
FUCK it, I may still use it anyway……

There has long been speculation that Ms. Jones has or is in fact a high end call-girl, but those rumors have never been backed by anything credible or concrete. I believe she may be the mistress of a well to do man who finances her lifestyle, which by some standards may be defined as prostitution. Some women decide to move in certain circles that will put them in close proximity to a man who has the ability to lavishly finance their lives or keep them "kept" if you will, while others choose to advertise and entertain a variety of men on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis. Finance is the common denominator in both instances, but they are different. Being a mistress in not illegal. Call me naive, but I think Ms. Jones has no "escorting" or "call-girl" past because I feel someone, in an attempt to put her in her place would have leaked any evidence a while ago. For real. Have you read how these message boards go in on her? The majority of the comments out there make it clear that the idea of a fabulous young black woman, who popped up on the scene out of nowhere is not well received. The haters have been yappin but thats about it. Nothing has come out or been revealed, until then I won't associate her with prostitution.
ReplyDeleteSidebar: Congrats on the new wheels! Also, Genevieve is a beautiful name. If you like it, I say use it as your moniker, and if you like the ring of Jones add another name into the mix and make it hyphenated. That would be hot!
To the comment above me...i agree in a way. Rumors are rumors and people speculate all the time. I just dont like the fact that, the only known popular black socialite. Is being known as a prostitute and a call girl. No matter what, she will always have that background associated with her name whether its true or not. Its not a good thing no matter how much of a glamorous life you live. Personally i am half and half on the situaution. whomever her daddy(s) is, they are hooking her up well.Her jewelry and bag line is hott (hawtt). But in the end whatever she is doing is working for her. I wish her all the good luck. She has contributed alot to the fashion world, and she is the perfect example that dreams come true.
