Does Escorting raise the crime rate?

Ok, I want you to take a moment and think about this question because this is something that a lot of us never think about.

Does escorting raise the crime rate in our city? And by this I mean; because our industry is illegal, does that make us part of the criminal element? Of course we’re not drug dealers, murderers, thieves, or street hookers, but in a way we are considered blue collar criminals. And no matter how exclusive or high dollar an escort is considered in this industry, she is still labeled a prostitute by the media if she’s ever busted or intertwined in a scandal.

Does the crime rate statistics even mention us, or better yet does the Department of Justice even consider Blue collar crimes stat worthy? Probably not, and I’ll tell you why? Everything that the law knows about this industry was learned from escort’s websites. From terminology to advertising; everything that the law has learned about this business comes from us. So in actuality they really don’t view “internet escorts” as criminals, they view us as tools in researching this particular vice. Now, this is not to suggest that escorts are above the law and don’t get arrested because the police live to fuck with us. But it’s more of an ego trip for cops to conquer and destroy an escort or courtesan, than it is for them to “save” a street hooker who is a victim.

Think about this for a sec-whenever you watch a segment on prostitution whether it’s on MSNBC or Dateline, most of the research was done by surfing our websites, blogs, and nationwide message boards. Media sources wouldn’t know anything about TER, Big doggie, or the terms “Hobbyist” and “Provider” if it wasn’t for them researching our sites. In short, the media needs girls like us to help them stay abreast of the industry and trends because they know that street prostitution in on the decline. You can’t learn shit from a street hooker but poverty, drug use, and hard times. It’s our side of the industry that keeps the police interested and obsessed. It’s the escort with the nice home and big pretty car that the law wants to learn about; not some crack whore selling her pussy for $10.

They live for us, they live to learn from us, they are obsessed with US. So in the end, escorting will probably never raise the crime rate because the law doesn’t actually believe we’re bad girls. All they see in us are sexy women who make a ton of money and live well.
