My Father.....
My father was admitted into the Hospital yesterday for Kidney Failure. It all started off with his big toe being sore and swollen, so he was under the assumption that he had either broke it, or some how bruised it really bad. He put off going to the Hospital for about a week, until the pain became un-bearable, then my mom MADE him go. As soon as they ran test on him, they could tell the swelling was a symptom of early Kidney Failure, and they admitted him right away. They took ex-rays of his kidney and found that the Blood Pressure medication that he was on was slowly ruining his kidneys. They are keeping him under 48 hour observation.
Once he leaves the Hospital, I’m going to introduce him to an Herbal specialist, who specializes in Kidney Flushes and natural detoxifying. It doesn’t help my father’s condition being that he’s a smoker and beer drinker, on top of being obese. Health problems is the #1 issue with African American’s over 50, so my family and I have decided to join him in his fight for better health.
