Looks vs Personality

We all know the saying; “Beauty is only skin deep”, but how much of that saying do people actually take seriously these days. With the beauty industry being a billion dollar industry, what does that say about most human beings and what is perceived as being beautiful? I’ve often asked myself this question because I was always considered “average looking” and sometimes “below average looking” by men, but was always treated well by them.

Am I Beautiful? NO
Am I ugly? NO
Am I Intriguing? YES
Am I Smart? MAYBE

I even had a boyfriend for years that worshiped the ground I walked on, but never really thought I was attractive. That really used to hurt my feelings until I learned the importance of personality and how men viewed looks as nothing more than visual pleasure. Pretty faces are abundance in America and all over the world, but how often do you run across a woman who intrigues you? How often do you run across a woman who is unusual, exciting, hypnotic, and mesmerizing? If you live in Missouri, you probably haven’t met too many.

And although I am quite aware that personality is very important especially in this business, I still can’t help but to wonder, how much better would I be treated if I were considered “beautiful” by society’s standards. Does being beautiful give you a free pass to be an asshole? I’ve seen beautiful escorts with personalities as warm as day old turd nuggets and the men flock them. I’ve even read terrible reviews on TER but men will still continue to see the same shitty escort again because she’s beautiful.

Hell, I even have a regular client of mine who gave me a “below average looking” rating on a review site, yet he comes to see me almost weekly and treats me like a queen! I’m definitely confused and scratching my head about this, but at the same time I’m pretty realistic when it comes to my looks, which makes me aware that my personality is a huge chunk of a reason why men continue to come to see me!
