Sex in the Bible...

Although I’m not a huge fan of the Bible or Christianity for that matter, I will say that I am impressed by the amount of sex that the people in the Bible were having. And not just regular vanilla sex either; I’m talking raunchy and incestuous sex.

Let’s examine the perverts of the “Good Book” we call the Bible.

(Lot has drunken sex with both daughters (Genesis 19:30-36)

30 Lot and his two daughters left Zoar and settled in the mountains, for he was afraid to stay in Zoar. He and his two daughters lived in a cave. 31 One day the older daughter said to the younger, "Our father is old, and there is no man around here to lie with us, as is the custom all over the earth. 32 Lets get our father to drink wine and then lie with him and preserve our family line through our father."

33 That night they got their father to drink wine, and the older daughter went in and lay with him. He was not aware of it when she lay down or when she got up.

34 The next day the older daughter said to the younger, "Last night I lay with my father. Let's get him to drink wine again tonight, and you go in and lie with him so we can preserve our family line through our father." 35 So they got their father to drink wine that night also, and the younger daughter went and lay with him. Again he was not aware of it when she lay down or when she got up.

36 So both of Lot's daughters became pregnant by their father.

(Judah has sex with Daughter-in-Law after mistaken her for a hooker (Gen. 38:15-16)

When Judah saw her, he thought she was a prostitute, for she had covered her face. 16Not realizing that she was his daughter-in-law, he went over to her by the roadside and said, "Come now, let me sleep with you." "And what will you give me to sleep with you?" she asked

(The story of Mary Magdalene)

Ok, the Story of Mary Magdalene has been switched into a PG rated version within the last 40 years or so. In 1969, the Catholic Church revised the Roman Missal and the Roman calendar, and now there is no mention of Mary Magdalene as previously being a sinner or prostitute. But The Gospel of Luke it describes her as a worldly woman "from whom seven demons had gone out”.

But it’s only obvious that history changed the idea that Mary was a prostitute, for the simple fact that she was Jesus favorite Apostle.

(Luke 7:44) Mary washed Jesus’ feet with her hair, and The Pharisee questioned why Jesus would allow a sinful woman to clean His feet, But Jesus rebukes the Pharisee.

(John 20:17) And after Jesus crucifixion and ascension into heaven, Mary was the first person that Jesus appeared to before he made his transition. And the story goes that Mary went to embrace him, but he stopped her because his body was in transition.

Lord knows that you can not let the world think that Jesus was a Hobbyist!
